1. The first thing to know is that the client for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Works, Magushi Abuja. The Contractor for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is Hitech Construction Company Limited.
2. The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is a 700km highway starting from Victoria Island, Lagos and it will pass through seven (7) states.
3. The states which the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road are Lagos State (the starting point), Ogun State, Ondo State, Delta State, Bayelsa State, Rivers State, Akwa Ibom, and Cross-river State where it will terminate as Calabar.
4. The 2 Spur for the coastal with be connecting 2 regions. One spur connects Badagry to Sokoto and the other spur will connect with Enugu to Abalaliki.
5. There are four (4) phases for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road. The first phase starts from Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island to Lekki Deep Sea Port which is 47.47km
6. Phase 2 is 55km and it starts from Lekki Deep Seaport to the border between Ogun and Ondo State.
7. Phase 3 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway will start from the end of the project which is Calabar running through Akwa Ibom which will be 60km
8. The phase 4 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road will start from Porthacourt toward Bayelsa. Another session or phase will now start from Delta and run toward the Ondo State axis.
