  1. Virtual Inspection:

Virtual inspection in real estate is done when you can’t physically be on the site to inspect the property. It is mostly done by Nigerians in the diaspora or people whose schedules are so tight.

This form of inspection is done through WhatsApp video call or Google Meet if possible. 90% of my clients who are based in the diaspora prefer this method. When you choose this means, your realtor should show you around the property and also the neighborhood that surrounds it.

  1. Physical Inspection:

Another method of real estate inspection is physical inspection. This involves you being at the site in person. If you live in the state or region where the property is located, please ensure you find a convenient time with your realtor to inspect the property.

This means can be done in 2 ways. It is either you go with the company or you go with your realtor. And bear in mind that going with the company will require you to book ahead.

  1. Representative Inspection:

This kind of inspection is when you send a representative you trust to stand in the gap for you. Your representative could be your friend, family or relatives, and so on.

However, you need to be very careful with this method when sending a representative. Some representatives could be deceitful simply of their own pocket. If you are a very busy person or you are based abroad, this option will work for you.

  1. Visual/Online Inspection:

This option is also good for you. Thanks to social media in this age. For any property, you intend to buy, try and go to social media and visualize the property. You can check video platforms such as YouTube to see where the property is and what people are saying about the property.
