Lekki-Epe International Airport Update
It’s no longer a news that there would be another international airport in Lagos State. And this time around, the international airport would be located on the Lagos Island, precisely Aiyetoro Ibeju Lekki along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
On Tuesday, 2nd January 2024, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso said that the State Government will focus on completing ongoing projects across the state in the new year. One of the major projects is the Lekki-Epe International Airport.
The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu budgeted about ₦2.2tr to be utilized judiciously for infrastructure development among which hospitals and the new Lekki Airport would be prioritised.
Aside from the Lekki-Epe Airport, other major projects like the hospital will also kick start in the year 2024. This calls for a mega infrastructure in the city of Lagos State. And this call for smart investors to invest in real estate in 2024.
